Fort Smith Paddling Club

Below are all the details about our club's regularly scheduled trips for the summer of 2012.  We have weekly beginner nights, weekly intermediate nights, and some "intro to Whitewater" clinics, and World Kayak Throwdowns thrown in for good measure! 

For all events, meet at the Yellow House: 39 McDougal Road. If the schedule has changed, there will be a whiteboard on the porch with the new information on it. 

For all events, participants must be registered club members, with a signed waiver.  Please see our membership page for details about membership fees and equipment rentals.

Our offerings this summer include:

"Intro to Whitewater" clinics - July 4, 18, and Aug 8 - if you've never been in a kayak before, this is the class for you!  Limited space - must pre-register. For details click here

Tuesday Beginner Club Nights - Our regular Tuesday paddle for beginners and others who wish to join them. Usually at the playground or the golf course run. We can bring out kayaks, canoes, inflatable kayaks, and the raft. For more info, click here.

Thursday Intermediate Club Paddle - If you've got a good, consistant river roll, and you want to explore more parts of the river, this night is for you - Thursday nights throughout the summer. Must pre-register - details here.
